Getting Started
To begin the CSV import process in NetSuite, Go to Setup à Import/Export à Import CSV Records. You will navigate to “Import Assistant” page.
Scan and Uploading CSV File
Select the category of record from the ‘Import type’ Dropdown list. Choose the ‘Record Type’ you want to import. It supports importing various record types like Customers, Contacts, Items, Transactions, etc. Click on the "Choose File" button to upload the CSV file from your computer.

Save Mapping and Start Import
In the ‘Import Map name’ field, enter a name that you can use as a reference when tracking the Import’s progress and provide a ‘Description ‘of this import and give the Script ID, then save.
